Harlem RBI's mission is to provide inner-city youth with opportunities to Play, Learn and Grow. We use the power of teams to coach, teach and inspire youth to recognize their potential and realize their dreams. Harlem RBI's afterschool and summer programs serve more than 1,000 East Harlem boys and girls, ages 5-22. The organizations’ approach to youth development and education addresses the barriers inner-city youth typically face by providing opportunities to build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to break the cycle of poverty. Programs are free of charge and open to all regardless of athletic or academic ability. Once youth join the program, they are a part of a safe, supportive and engaging environment where they can play, learn and grow until they graduate from high school and complete college.
